Travelled to Lincoln with the belief that for Nebraska fans, college football is the only game in town. We learned on Friday evening not even to ask that college football be put on the bar TVs when their volleyball team is playing. Probably a good thing they have something else to cheer about as our Wolverines dismantled and manhandled the Cornhuskers in every aspect of the game allowing the Nebraska fans to leave at halftime so they could catch the Saturday night VB match. It was another great environment for us away fans as we took over the stands and concourses of the stadium. Michigan just had their way and could do just about anything they wanted. Keep in mind that Nebraska had one of the top run defenses in the country but we dominated both trenches. We have seen week over week improvement, particularly with some of the new faces on the team. We face another road test in the battle for the Little Brown Jug under the lights. BTW, everything you may have heard about how nice the Nebraska fans are is true. We had people buying us rounds of drinks and coming up to us to make sure we were having a good weekend in Lincoln. Columbus and East Landfill should take lessons. Go Blue!!
