For the second week in a row, we visited a school that didn’t really care about their football. Saw many more Minnesota hockey jerseys and sweatshirts celebrating their hockey national championship (though they did not win it last year) than football shirts or jerseys. And boy do they celebrate their first downs! They stand up and do a chant for every first down. Fortunately the stadium was devoid of home fans by the third quarter for the second week in a row so it was just the announcer yelling to a half empty stadium. It was unfortunate that we gave up a touchdown at the end of the first half as this was a brutal beat down. The Wolverine defense alone outscored Minnesota leading to our biggest point production of the season. This odd October schedule continues with our only home game of the month as the Hoosiers come to town. And they are struggling. Pay no attention to the weather forecast and come on out for the early tailgate.
