The world has has officially moved into an alternative universe (aside from the political realm). Indiana football won the National Championship while their basketball team sucks. The Nebraska basketball team is ranked in the top ten halfway thru the season even though they are the only Power 5 team to never win a game in the NCAA Championship (0-8). And Minnesota hockey has a losing record. Crazy!

As to our Wolverines, the football team ended the season on a sour note, losing their last two games while having our head coach go off the deep end. But both our basketball teams (men and women) and our hockey squad are near the top of the national rankings. The men’s basketball team played the 2025 portion of their schedule as if they would be unbeaten, trouncing top national teams. The wins have been much tighter in the B1G but the team is fighting for a top seed in the tournament.
