I’ve been to a few Rose Bowl games and seemed to have a nearly identical perspective at each. At the end zone with the Charles White phantom touchdown (no replays back then), Charles Woodson’s interception, Ryan Leaf’s last gasp, our Michigan Wolverines made the defensive play in OT to send Wolverine fandom into delirium. The mighty tide was thwarted and we are on to the Championship Game in Houston! Just like other Rose Bowl games I have witnessed, the Wolverines made mistakes that seemed to doom them despite outplaying Bama. Monday can’t get here fast enough. Go Blue! Beat Every Team!! Win It All!!!
