Not a lot to say other than to hope we have considerable improvement from week one to week two with our showdown against Texas looming. Fresno State was at least a decent mid-major team and better than most of the non-conference teams Michigan has played the last couple of seasons. There is also a latent hope that the coaching staff didn’t want to show anything to help our next opponent. As expected, the defense was a force and contributed to the scoring. And to my surprise, Davis Warren got the call at QB over Orji (who I still feel has a higher ceiling). First games always creates issues for the offensive line as they continue to learn each other and the proper decisions. But we don’t have the luxury of a three game exhibition season as in the past so our Wolverines will need to iron out issues this week.
