After the performance on opening night, I had no idea what to expect when we welcomed a highly ranked Oklahoma team to The Big House but it was definitely leaning BPONE (Black Pit of Negative Expectations). But our Wolverines came in with a solid gameplan leaning on the limitations of our young team and the weaknesses of the opponent. As many have stated in this early season, it’s nice to have adults once again steering the ship. We have all been screaming for more planned run plays for Bryce to use both his size and speed. This also allowed the coaches to simplify decisions on offense by forcing Bryce to focus on only one side of the field. On the flip side, the defense ate up the weakest aspect of the Sooners having their way along the defensive front and allowing our experienced secondary to mix up coverages. Exciting game, great result. Now, lets steamroll UTEP and open the B1G season with momentum. Go Blue!!
