Seattle Was Great But….

The football being played by our Wolverines is becoming disheartening. With Orji in, the opposing defenses play 10 men within eight yards of the line of scrimmage just daring us to throw downfield knowing we won’t. Yet, the coaches have not installed an offensive scheme that takes advantage of our big, fast quarterback. Tuttle came in and sparked the Wolverine offense out to a lead in the game and I had hope. But the lack of reps in practice doomed Tuttle as he missed open downfield receivers which resulted in turnovers to flip the game back to UW. The defense seems to also be easily schemed into giving up big plays at inopportune times of the game. Analysts who see more than I do seem to believe our over the hill NFL DC is asking the players to make the same plays as a NFL defense would. Welp, we are back on the road for a trip to Illinois top take on a surprising Illini football squad. Hopefully, two weeks of practice will elevate or Wolverines for the remainder of the season. Go Blue!!
