It is one thing to go on the road in the B1G and lose a game to a good team. It is an entirely different thing for a Wolverine team to never be in the game and lose badly. The defensive scheme was horrendous as USC moved easily up and down the field with only their own errors limiting the damage. USC ran eleven screenplays quite successfully while we made no adjustments to counter. Going into the game, it was widely believed that the Wolverines would have the tougher run game and could dominate the line of scrimmage. USC doubled our rushing production as a former walk-on running back scooted all over the field, including 49 yards on a 3rd and 26 play with personnel out of position and missed tackles. Wink’s schemes were eviscerated by Lincoln Riley. While the offense had decent drives, there simply is no fire on the sidelines. Sherrone Moore shows no emotion on the sidelines leading me to wonder whether he is overwhelmed. Half the season is still in front of us so hopefully things will improve. Go Blue!! Forever!
