Improvements From Game 1 to Game 2????

I expected us to at least show up and give the home team a game. It wasn’t…from beginning to end. Oklahoma just provided all the other teams on the schedule a blueprint as to how to attack our offense. But it also felt as if the coaches shackled the offense with ultraconservative play calling (or trying to avoid injury to Bryce). Frustrating night as the Sooners loaded the box yet we kept running between the tight ends. The coaches may have been hoping that our defense could hold us in the game but that didn’t pan out either. Can’t see the whole field on TV but it seemed like we played much more man defense than typical and their receivers found every seam. Over and over again. Time to come home and lick our wounds for the last non-con before heading into the B1G season. All is not lost since we still have the full B1G season ahead.
As a side note, we are having a Couzens Dorm 5400-5500 reunion for fifty years since we started at the Best University In The World! Go Blue!! Beat the Stallions..er, the Chips!!!
