It wasn’t just the poorly managed timeout call at the end of the game but a lack of overall gameplan. For weeks we have seen opposing teams stack ten men in the box knowing we have no plan for stretching out opposing defenses. And what do we do, one inside run after another leaving the Wolverines with third and long. If you watch a game on TV, most times you won’t even be able to see the safeties in the frame. With our offense, most times you will see one but also both safeties within the frame. Stack on top of that our QBs insistence on staring down Loveland on most every pass play and you have a recipe for disaster. Well, one more home game and tailgate after the bye week and we’ll see if our Wolverines go bowling in the post-season. Certainly won’t be in January.
